I tore the ulna collateral ligament on my thumb back in August 2018 during a fall but didn't see Dr. Luther until March 2019. At the time, my thumb was so unstable that I couldn't even hold a cup of coffee. Dr. Luther not only assisted with the X-ray of my hand but took the time to explain the damage, what could be done surgically and the possible outcomes I could expect afterwards. He is a highly skilled surgeon with a super personality who truly cares about his patients. From the surgery to the physical therapy, he and his entire staff (especially Debbie & Jennifer) at Wake Orthopaedics of Garner made the experience as pleasant as possible!
